studio policies
1. Season Commitment
Enrollment is a full-season commitment to support consistency and skill development. Upon registering, you agree to complete the full season.
2. Tuition

Tuition is a flat monthly fee.

Monthly tuition is not prorated for absences, holidays, or closures.

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and considered late after the 5th. A late fee may apply.

A valid credit card must be kept on file and will be automatically charged on the 1st of each month.
3. Withdrawal
We require 30 days' written notice to withdraw from a membership. Tuition remains due during that 30-day period. No refunds are issued for past payments.
4. Attendance & Makeups

Regular attendance is essential for progress.

Competitive dancers may miss no more than 5 group technique classes per season.

To be eligible for a makeup, private lessons must be canceled at least 7 days before the scheduled lesson.

No credits or refunds are given for missed classes.
5. Class Attire
All dancers are expected to follow the dress code below:

Hair neatly secured

No hanging jewelry

Half sole shoes

Dancewear: all black leotard, paired with nude tights, black shorts, or black leggings
6. Parent Observation

First-time dancers may have a parent present for their first class. After that, classes are closed to parents to support focus and independence.

Special observation days and in-studio performances will be announced throughout the year and offer a great opportunity to watch your dancer in action.
7. Studio Etiquette

Arrive on time and prepared for class.

Respect instructors, classmates, and studio space.

Cell phones must be silenced and stored away during class.
8. Parent Etiquette

Parents and guardians are expected to treat staff, instructors, and fellow families with respect and kindness.

Please avoid disrupting classes or giving dancers corrections from the sidelines.

Direct concerns or questions to the studio director via email or by scheduling a meeting — not during class transitions.

Gossip, bullying, negativity, or disrespectful behavior within the studio community will not be tolerated.
9. Communication
We communicate important updates via email. Please make sure your contact information is kept up to date.
10. Safety & Liability

The studio is not responsible for students before or after class hours.

Please escort young dancers in and out of the building.

Participation in physical activity classes carries some risk of injury; by enrolling, families agree to our liability waiver.

competition fees
Competition fees are announced upon registration, as pricing varies by competition. Soloist entry fees typically range from $135–$225. Families may choose to compete in one or two competitions per season.
costume fees
Costume fees will be invoiced and added to your tuition upon registering for your first competition. We aim to keep costumes as affordable as possible by personalizing them ourselves, with costs ranging from $50–$100. Each soloist will be given one custom costume per season. Families may choose to reuse a previous costume, provided the choreography allows for it.

Are recreational group classes available?
Our recreational programming has moved fully to private lessons. The only group classes offered now are the weekly technique classes required for dancers in the Competitive Track.
Can I take group technique class if I am on the Personal Development Track.

What's the difference between the Competitive Track and the Personal Development Track?
The Competitive Track is for dancers preparing to perform in competitions and includes mandatory weekly group technique classes plus private coaching. The Personal Development Track is fully private, flexible, and designed for dancers who want to build skill and confidence without a competition schedule.
Are parents allowed to watch class?
Classes are closed to help students gain independence and focus.. We do invite families to join us for our informal in-studio performances throughout the year
What happens if we miss a private lesson?
We understand that life happens! Private lessons are eligible for makeup sessions based on instructor and studio availability. To be eligible for a reschedule, we require at least 7 days' notice of cancellation.
What happens if we miss a group technique class? (Competitive Track Only**)
Group technique classes cannot be made up. Dancers may miss no more than 5 group technique classes per season — exceeding this limit may result in ineligibility to register for the next competition.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, each class requires certain footwear and clothing in order to properly train and engage in the movement vocabulary safely and without distraction. See our dress code requirements here.
